    Where your Zakat goes

World of Peace is committed to delivering your Zakat where it is needed most. We currently distribute your donation in three regions facing particular hardship: Gambia, Sudan and Gaza.

The humanitarian situation in these regions is deeply concerning. People face enormous challenges, whether due to poverty, conflict or natural disasters.

Zakat is distributed in the form of cash assistance, allowing people to use it for what they need most urgently – whether food, medical care or other essential expenses.

We can assure you that your Zakat reaches exactly where it is needed and supports those who rely on this assistance.

    Zakat is 2.5% of wealth

Zakat is a fundamental part of Islam and one of its five pillars. It embodies the obligation of Muslims to donate a set portion of their wealth to support people in need.

Zakat is an important means of social and economic solidarity, aiming to reduce inequality within society. Muslims who are financially able generally make an annual contribution of 2.5% of their wealth.

Our responsibility is to distribute your Zakat fairly to the groups named in the Quran who are eligible to receive this support.
