When Hope Makes the Headlines – Our Orphans on TV

Sometimes small ideas grow into big stories...
Our beekeeping project in Gambia is one of them.
What began with the wish to give five orphans real prospects for the future has now gained nationwide attention: The Gambian news channel QTV News visited our project and reported on it. For us – and especially for the children – this is a moving milestone.

At the heart of the project are five young people forging a new path through self-help support. In hands-on training sessions, they learn about beekeeping, take responsibility for their bee colonies and gradually build an independent future. Bees instead of poverty – an approach that brings together hope, dignity and sustainability.

The TV report powerfully shows how much potential lies in small, well-planned projects – and how hope can become real change.
